I have committed to pray from 7AM-11AM on Fridays during the 40 Days for Life 2015 Spring campaign in NWA Feb. 18-March 29.
We who are present will have a chance to reach out and pray for clinic workers and abortion-minded women. Therefore, when the clinic opens at 8:30, those who choose to will be praying with eyes open so they can watch for opportunities to share with people. We will have materials to hand out including information for clinic workers. We will praying for open doors, open hearts, and open minds.
Here are some great sidewalk counseling tips. I will have copies of these with me for people to read.
From 7AM to 8AM we will have a time of intense prayer and worship where we press into God. Intercessors are welcome!
You are free to do what you feel called to peacefully do as your expression of prayer. You can pray with me and others, or by yourself. You can walk, sit, stand, face the clinic, face the street, hold a sign, don’t hold a sign. For those of us in a group, we will do our best to be lead by the Holy Spirit as we read scripture, pray, have times of quiet, sing, and cry out to the Lord.
Please be sure to read the 40 Days for Life statement of peace .
Bring: Warm clothes, a chair, water, and Bible.
Remember what Abby Johnson said about Planned Parenthood’s concern about prayer warriors who pray in front of their clinics. Normally their no-show rate is 50%. But when people are praying where clients can see them, the no-show rate goes to 75%.
