With all the symptoms of a dogmatic, cult-like religion where people are encouraged NOT to think, reason, or study for themselves, medical science has gone way overboard. As a Christian, I know from experience that there is lots of room for me to learn for myself what is the truth. True Christianity allows for this and there are a large number of resources to draw upon including books by apologetics specialists such as Lee Strobel, Josh McDowell, and William Craig.
This article eerily shows similarities of rigid fundamentalist religion that is a bit scary. If you want more ammunition with which to challenge medical doctors, this is a must read.
